Custom Quartz Cleaning Tanks
| Parameter | Typical Range |
|---|---|
| Inner / outer L×W×H | Confirmed per equipment envelope |
| Wall thickness | 5–15 mm |
| Port position | Confirmed per equipment interface |
| Overflow / drain geometry | Confirmed per process |
| Assembly flatness / squareness | Confirmed per order |

Quartz wet-process tanks built as a complete assembly — walls, bottom, overflow, and port geometry — sized to your equipment or reproduced from a worn original.
Tank dimensions, wall thickness, port position, and weld distortion are one assembly chain, not independent specs — a port position shifts if the overall tank size changes, so confirm all of them together, not one dimension at a time.
Open, Overflow, Drain and Multi-Port Tank Configurations
- Open tank — a plain trough, no overflow or drain features, for simple immersion processes
- Overflow tank — includes a raised overflow lip or weir to maintain constant fluid level and skim surface contaminants
- Drain tank — includes a bottom or side drain for controlled fluid removal
- Multi-port tank — includes inlet, outlet, and instrumentation ports at specified positions for process control
Tank Walls, Bottoms, Overflow and Port Geometry
Wall thickness is chosen for both structural rigidity (a large tank full of liquid puts real load on the walls) and thermal stress resistance if the process involves heated fluid. Overflow and drain geometry are functional features, not just holes — overflow height sets your process fluid level, and drain position affects how completely the tank empties. Ports for fluid or instrumentation are welded in at a position set by your process, not placed arbitrarily.
Replacing an Existing Quartz Tank: Required Dimensions
Send the equipment model and, if you have it, the old tank or its drawing. At minimum we need inner and outer L×W×H, wall thickness, and the position of every port, overflow, and drain feature — matching only the outer dimensions is the most common cause of a tank that doesn't interface correctly with existing plumbing.
Fabrication is quartz plate cut, hot-formed at the corners or welded from flat panels, with ports and drains welded in and the assembly annealed. Before shipment we check inner/outer dimensions, squareness, warpage, port position, weld seams, and — where the application calls for it — a leak check.
Internal Volume, Overflow Level and Port Locations Must Share One Datum
| Controlled Feature | Reference Capability / Requirement |
|---|---|
| Capacity | 5, 10, 20 or 30 L common reference series; custom volumes by drawing |
| Internal Dimensions | Working volume separated from outside envelope |
| Wall / Bottom Thickness | Defined from tank size, support and thermal cycle |
| Drain Port | Diameter, joint type, center position and dead-volume requirement |
| Overflow | Weir height, outlet size and return layout |
| Cover / Lip | Open top, cover support or equipment-specific rim |
| Volume Accuracy | ±1% industry-reference quotation level where calibrated volume is required |
| Material / Packaging | Low-OH quartz option and clean packaging scope stated |
Capacity Is Only the Starting Point for a Replacement Tank
| Nominal Capacity | Configuration Options | Must Match |
|---|---|---|
| 5 L | Open or drain tank | Bench opening and port center |
| 10 L | Drain or overflow tank | Internal dimensions and liquid level |
| 20 L | Multi-port wet-process tank | Wall support and plumbing layout |
