Spout, Rim, Wall and Bottom Options

A pouring spout is standard on most sizes; a plain rim (no spout) is available where the beaker is used with a separate transfer tool instead. Wall thickness is chosen for handling durability and thermal shock resistance — thicker walls handle rapid heating/cooling better but respond more slowly to temperature change. Bottom is flat as standard, for stability on a hot plate or stand.

Quartz Beakers Size / Capacity / Joint Standard

Beakers don't typically use a ground joint — if your application needs one (for a fitted cover or connection), tell us and we'll confirm a compatible rim design. Fabrication is hot-formed from tube or plate stock, with the rim fire-polished and the bottom formed flat. Before shipment we check capacity/dimensions, rim condition, bottom stability (sits flat, doesn't rock), wall thickness, and appearance.
