Cleaning baskets hold wafers during wet chemical processing — cleaning, etching, or rinsing — where fluid needs to reach every wafer surface evenly and drain fully between steps. The basket's job is even spacing and full drainage, not structural support alone.

Available Quartz Wafer Cleaning Baskets Configurations

Standard slotted baskets (vertical slots, one wafer per slot) are the default; configurations with wider spacing for thicker wafers, or tighter spacing for higher-capacity batches, are available. Tell us your wafer thickness alongside diameter, since slot width depends on both.

Wafer Spacing, Drainage and Handling Features

Slot spacing needs to be wide enough for process fluid to flow freely between wafers, not just wide enough to fit the wafer — too tight a pitch traps fluid or bubbles between wafers during processing. Drainage geometry (open bottom, side cutouts) is chosen to avoid pooling when the basket is lifted out of the bath. Handle geometry is set by whether the basket is loaded manually or by equipment.

Basket Designs for Wafer Wet Processing

Fabrication is rod or plate stock cut and machined for slot features, then welded into the basket frame and fire-polished. Before shipment we check overall dimensions, slot pitch, support points, weld points, handle position, and warpage.
